Understanding the decking warranty
Our deck boards are guaranteed against structural damage from termites and fungal growth: 25 years for residential use and for 10 years for public or commercial use.
This guarantee is limited to the supply of replacement boards.

ISO 14001
In March 2014 we were the first French manufacturer of wood composite to achieve certification under the ISO 14001 international standard.
ISO 50001
Silvadec obtained ISO 50001 energy certification in 2022 thanks to the implementation of concrete actions aimed at reducing our energy consumption and consequently, our carbon footprint.

PEFC certification
Since 2011 we have held PEFC certification, a strong sign of our commitment to a responsible process of sustainable forest management.
We have chosen to engage in clean local production, and are proud that 100% of our wood flour suppliers are French and are PEFC certified.

VOC testing
Our wood composite products are non-harmful to the environment and to the health of the end user. In particular, their emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) are very low.
SGBC Certificate
In 2017, we at Silvadec obtained the highest grade ever awarded to a wood composite manufacturer by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC). We are proud to draw attention to this international recognition from the SGBC.

As part of a full-transparency approach on our products, in 2019 we established an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for our composite open rhombus cladding boards.
