If your site configuration means that the first fencing board has to be partially buried (posts embedded in concrete), you will need to insert a base plate instead of the first board.
Be sure to include the exposed height of the base plate when calculating the stacking height.
Once the concrete has set, insert the base plate into the slot in the post and rest it on the concrete base.
Slide the first wood composite board into the slot in the post and seat it on the base plate.
Multiple base plates can be stacked. A base plate can, if need be, replace any board over the height of the fencing.
